The Capital Cotillion Club, Inc. is a social club that provides formal dinner-dances for members and guests at country clubs and other venues in the Washington D.C. area.  You have to be a member or a member-guest to attend our events,  If you are interested in attending an event as a guest, please fill out the form on the Contact Us tab at the top of the main page and a board member will reach out to you.

In 1962 a group of single people who shared a beach house in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, were looking for some type of social activity for the winter months and they formed a club to hold black-tie dances on Friday evenings. The first dance was held October 19, 1962, in a rented Washington, D.C. ballroom. Dance locations soon broadened to include embassies, private clubs, and area hotels. Over the years, the Club expanded from five to eight dinner-dances per year and from an all-singles group to a mixed group of couples and singles.

Today, the Club is an incorporated organization focusing on elegance and excellence in ballroom dancing and enjoyable social dining.
