The Capital Cotillion Club is a members-only organization for committed ballroom dancers. New membership nominations must be sponsored by a current member and approved by the Club’s Board of Governors. Membership dues are currently $75 per person for 8 dances held once a month, from October to June. All members are expected to have sufficient training to understand line-of-dance and normal ballroom etiquette such as floor craftsmanship.

Guests are very welcome to attend one or two dances to see if the club meets expectations. Guest attendance is by invitation only, either by a current member or professional dance instructor with whom the club has made specific arrangements to bring their students as guests. All guests are expected to be committed ballroom dancers, and have sufficient training to understand line-of-dance and normal ballroom etiquette such as floor craftsmanship.
